Natural Latex foam The latex products fulfill the demand for luxurious bedding that is kind to the body as well as the environment. The unusually good point elasticity of natural latex provides ideal support to every part of the body. This provides an especially comfortable sensation when lying down. The resting person does not perceive the high supporting ability of natural latex as “hardness”, but as adaptable counter pressure. It's soft and supportive, it helps relieves pressure points, it's antimicrobial, and resists mold and dust mites. Natural latex is a natural renewable material. 100% Pure Natural Latex is inherently hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and dust mite resistant, making it perfect for allergy sufferers or anyone wanting to breathe fresh, clean air while they sleep. In addition, natural latex is breathable, keeping you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. We offer latex cores in a wide range of sizes and densities for mattress production. Apart from that we use natural latex as a binder and resilience enhancer in our rubberized and needled products.
Cocolok is made purely from natural coconut fibers and natural latex. The fiber is collected from the coconut husk, a resource that is widely available.
Coconut palms grow on 10 million of hectares of land throughout the tropics. Coir is a product that is naturally adapted to the human body.
We feel comfortable in coir, just like we feel comfortable in wool, cotton and horsehair.
Coir Coconut fiber is very tough yet also elastic. The fiber hardly deteriorates at all over time. Coir is a product that is naturally adapted to the human body. The fiber is collected from the coconut husk, a resource that is widely available. Coconut palms grow on 10 million of hectares of land throughout the tropics. Only a fraction of the huge quantities of nuts are collected for industrial use.
The spun natural fibres are shaped into a fleece and sprayed with latex as part of the production process. The latex binds the curled fibres which are then pressed and vulcanised in several layers into resilient Hairlok® and Cocolok® sheets. This process leads to sheets with a very open and resilient structure Sheets like this provide a good micro climate. On top of that it has good shock absorbing properties. This is good for insulation, mattresses, furniture, car seats, filters, packaging etc. The structure also absorbs sounds and certain waves. So it also makes a good insulation product. Both thermal as acoustical.
Naturally, as material designed by nature to protect camels from extremes of heat and cold in a wild environment, camel wool offers out-standing insulating properties, is soft and very comfortable to the skin in all conditions.
Until fairly recently, these fibers have been used almost exclusively in high end garment manufacture such as coats and scarves. The wonderful properties for fine clothing make this an ideal addition to any premium furniture construction.
We offer a full range of needled non wovens for the mattress industry and upholstery production. We are very flexible and have a wide range of different fibers on stock which we can blend into almost any combination.
Alpaca is one of the new breed of exotic fibres offering the very best in comfort, feel and performance.
As an animal fibre Alpaca offers unique properties which make it an ideal material for use in high quality sleep solutions. Free of lanolin, Alpaca is hypoallergenic and excellent for peo-ple with sensitive skin.
The profile of Alpaca means that it is un-barbed which helps produce a beautiful soft feel to the skin but importantly will help with a construction to reduce the possibility of fibre migration.
Alpaca fleece is rapidly moving to the top of an elite group known as specialty fibres. Admission to this select circle requires that a fibre be rare and extremely fine.
Alpaca fibre easily meets both of these demanding standards. To touch and then to wear a 100 percent alpaca garment inspires superlatives, i.e., "stronger than mohair . . ." "finer than cashmere . . ." "smoother than silk . . ." "softer than cotton . . ." "warmer than goose down or the new synthetic fabrics like Gore-Tex," and "breathes better than thermal knits."
Wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Wool isolates warmth, sheeps are very comfortable in very cold conditions. Wool is also healthy, breathable and controls humidity! Wool keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Wool has safety benefits too.
